Studying together at the higher graphic design school "Die Graphische" in Vienna, Johannes Schiehsl and Conrad Tambour discovered their shared interest for computer graphics and animated film.

They founded "pibyte" in September 2000 and created a set of animation and film projects since then. Both are currently studying at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg, Germany.
